Ingredients:

  • 200g spaghetti
  • 300g shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions:

  • Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes until they turn pink and opaque.
  • Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook for another 2-3 minutes until they soften.
  • Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing everything together. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the fresh basil and grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
